Serious Pay Day...

Google has just bought YouTube in a $1.65 billion stock-for-stock deal. That's $1.67 billion, not million - 1,650,000,000 of your American dollars.

YouTube only just 67 employees.

You ain't whistling Dixie there, brother! Personally, I'm waiting for Our Lady Of The Blessed Premium Bond to shake a tail feather in my direction.

No I don't think they will be changing the name or anything, but I hear they will be improving the search facility...

However, YouTube is still to make a profit.

Google know something, for sure ;)

Could their deal with Warner Bros and Sony to enable them to sell music vids online have anything to do with it?

Surely a moderated 'YouTube' service could be of more use in this circumstance than the shaky Google Video platform...
