Hello everybody. I read a forum on this site and read how to perform stigmata. It talks about iron in your blood and a magnet. I'm finding it really hard to belive that that is the correct method. Could some one please tell me if it's correct?

This forum is not about exposing the methods behind tricks. If you really want to know how to perform this effect, the best way would be to buy the DVD :wink:

You can bet your money that no one on this forum will answer the question you have put forward.

yes, thats right...

its a heavy diet to get into, but once you do - its worth it...

plenty of liver basically! you can liquidize it if it makes it easier to swallow...

and a very strong magnet...test it out on your tv first...

Take GREAT care when cutting the magnets to the correct shape, as if your magnet is too powerful, it will draw too much blood, and you could be very ill.

A magician I know didn't heed this warning and ended up with a litre of blood stuck to the magnet—very messy.

The best plan is to buy the effect—like everyone else—and you'll then learn the most effective and safe way to perform it.

though put down some plastic matting if you can when you try out the first few times...i spilt alot of blood learning this...

granted it wasnt mine, but even so...

Personally I 'prepped' the effect by slicing my wrists with razor blades beforehand to help the blood flow during performance..

This SEEMED like a good idea at the time!

You dont even have to do that! Just sit down with a beer watching tv, put something at the top of your arm to restrict the flow of blood to your wrist (i recommend a clamp, but peoples opinions do vary), and then just pump your hand for a bit! Soon, you get a supply of blood in your wrist that you can do with as you wish!

I tell you how its really done. I was saying I can't believe anyone can be that stupid to psychogoat who thought whoever told him the iron in the blood/magnet method was the real way to perform stigmata. Buy Banachek's psi series volume 2 DVD or wayne houchin's Stigmata and all will be revealed.
