Hi, everybody!

I don't know why, but now, with my 40 years, bang! Magic.. magic... I want to do this! I work in advertising (in fact I run my own business) and, as you can see, my english is far from ok.

First mistake: I bought lots of tricks, DVDs and books and now I'm kind of lost... But I feel that cards are my way... I guess I have to select some to practice... and stop my compulsive shops! :D

Well... that's it! Thanks for share all that knowlegde with us, newbies!

hello Woki welcome to the forum

and, as you can see, my english is far from ok.

i think your english is very good!

i would suggest you take you time with regards to learning.
if you are interested in cards take one of your books or dvd's that concentrates on cards and work throught that ! but take it slowly, work throught each effect you like and keep practasing untill you are happy with it! ( practise in front of a mirror ) thaen when you are happy move on put keep practasing the first trick. and you will find you will progress better!

it is better to know 10 tricks and be able to perform them flawlesly then it is to know 100 and perform them badly!

any way welcome!

Welcome Woki.

You can read the reviews to find which tricks you have already bought compliments your style. Also if they are for newbies or experts.
It will also help in future buys.

He's got CUPS everyone LOL!!!

Welcome....... pick stuff you really like, that amazes you and you want to do but not too much stuff. Start with one trick, learn it really really well then learn another, really really well!! Don't try to cram your knowledge as that'll lead to failure..... learn at a steady pace and you'll do well. This is a great forum to be in so good luck young (as in newbie :P ) MAGI!!
