I was just wondering if there are any WoW players in TM, because I have started playing myself. Its soooo addicting!

I started playing a few weeks ago. Having trouble trying to find time to play it though as I have a lot of new games. I also know once I start playing more regularly I'm going to be hooked on it :D

I vowed never to play another on-line game again - they're just too addictive for me :?

I used to play Mir2 until I got hacked. I sold all my items etc and now someone else plays on my character. In a way I'm glad I got hacked or else I'd prob still be playing now. My bro-in-law used to play Mir2 and he now plays WOW - he keeps hassling me (along with his cronies) to start playing WOW but it just ain't gonna happen

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

Not played WOW myself and dont really play computer games...well until I bought Battlefield 2 and now I'm playing far too much. I am usually playing from 1pm - 1am most nights. I'm 30 years old and a bit sad it seems.

I also just realise I got my timings wrong above there. It should have said 11pm - 1am. 2 hours not 12. That would be tragic

Lol. I could be next, I spent hours if not days hacking my ipod nano so that it could play videos and gameboy games ect. [ www.ipodlinux.org ]

Recently I went on to hacking my PSP as you can do more with it, all sorts of stuff like emulating all of the old consoles. [ www.psp-hacks.com ] I havn't had much time lately but as soon as I do I'll grab my PSP, update it all with the hacks then play a good game of Socom online :D

I prob didn't make myself clear when I said this - what I meant to say was that I sold all my items for REAL CASH (sold 'em on Ebay - type "legend of mir" into the search on Ebay and you'll see what items are currently for sale :? ).

It's a bit sad really - there are people out there that will pay money to obtain in-game items. I'm not complaining - if someone out there is willing to pay me hard cash for what is basically a collection of pixels, then I'm not gonna turn it down. I made over £300 selling my in-game items, then I gave my account to a friend of mine.

If I hadn't been hacked, I could have prob made in excess of £1000 as I had some quite tasty items

The Economy where you can trade real money for in-game money in some MMORPG called Everquest is actually the world's 73rd largest economy.

Guiness World Records 2006 wrote: According to research by Edward Castranova at Indiana University,USA, the Kingdom of Norrath in the game Everquest has a gross national product per capita of $2,266 (£1,176). This is based on a market exchange rate between virtual Norrath gold coins sold on online auction sites and real world currency. this places the Kindom of Norathas the world's 73rd largest economy, between the actual economies of Turkey and Ghanah.

What's the world coming too?

Arghhh... one of my mates is always trying to get me to play WoW...

I watched him play it once and can hoenstly say it doesn't even look like my cup of tea

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism
