I am familiar with Ammars tape, but does anyone have any experience with other effects with b-cards? I love these effects. It's very personal...

I've used TAG on many an occasion and have always had good to great reactions. There's a review somewhere and it may be worthwhile taking a look at this and also at the video on JBTV.

There's also potential scope, once you know the secret for some adaptation.

not so much a trick, but have you seen hot leads by Jim Pace? http://www.themagicgadget.co.uk/Hot-Leads-Jim-Pace-pr-271.html

I can't use it because my business cards are plastic!

I use hot leads from time to time and it's funny how fire really excites people.
I could have done, what I would call, a cracking closer and then use hot leads to hand over my card and they seem more impressed with that and then go on about it..lol

How about "Power Lunch" available on Penguin Magic......a toothpick penetrates a business card.......sort of card through dollar bill type of situation?

I dont perform Business Card Magic because I don't have a business card. :P

But from what I have seen, I quite like Oz Pearlman's "21st Century Phantom", which is included in his lecture notes "Into the Abyss".

Basically is a close-up version of Annemann's "Phantom Artist" in which a piece of paper (or business card in this case) is cut into widly, and is then revealed to have the face of the selected celebrity, heres a picture of the final result.

The best business card effects are in the mentalism genre. Of course, you are not doing tricks with business cards. The business cards are incidental.

Outside of Billet Work, you can pick up a stockholder wallet to learn a truckload of business card magic and even some mentalism.

Thanks,

Elliott

Name of someone you have never met before + Twin Peaks + business card = Priceless + optional Stigmata = They will never loose your business card but might be afraid to call you  .

All I can really think of with business cards is what has already been mentioned, a version of Stigmata, and using the Twin Peaks move any which way you want to do whatever your heart desires.

Hope that was somewhat helpful,
~David

Could try Fraud, I found it to be a good effect with business cards. Much easier than bills too.

Except the bills can be borrowed from a spec, where-as a Business card cannot for obvious reasons.

I don't use it myself, but couldn't something like "6 Card Repeat" be done with business cards?
