OK, I'm going to try to perform a trick right from my computer (note I came up with this myself after some inspiration.) OK, so just try out the following:
If you place a pendulum (find a moderately heavy object hanging from a string or make your own) over a male's hand, then it will swing in a straight line. If you do the same to a female's hand then it will swing in a circle.

Now that's the whole trick. . I don't know if this is exposure or anything, but if it is just delete it, but it's a quick effect I came up with myself. Try it out though.

Sory to be the bearer of bad news but using a pendulum to identify gender of a person or, in some cases the sex of an unborn baby, like this has been done for centuries by gypsies, soothsayers and assorted 'wise' ones. And just for the record the routine with the pendulum I bought some 50 years ago also gave straight line for male and circular for female .

. Seemed original to me. Well credit to the gypsies then

Edit: BTW the reason I chose circle and line is because it's rather difficult to subconsciously draw a triangle ^^
