I've messed up already by posting in a non-forum and been dragged here to introduce myself before my rabbit gets it.

I'm Simon, I'm new, I'm in Watford, I'm an amateur but getting better.

Born problem solver, which is a bit annoying when I'm trying to enjoy magic and end up breaking it down and figuring it out... I'm obsessed, I can't help it... So now I'm on a mission, I'm going to get an effect named after me by creating a completely new one... sound like a recent film? I won't go to those lengths but you know what I mean.

Looking for a few alternatives while here if anyone has any ideas. I can't afford to keep buying things being a humble web designer. I'm after alternatives for ITR, Roughing, Flash paper (if an alternative exists) etc.
