Recently I got in love with rubberband magic. And I have played around with different ideas. But now I have extract a rubberband penetration from a solo perfomers into a spectators hands. It is a good and convincing penetration.

What basically happens is:
You slide on a big rubberband on a spec. wrist. You twist one time so it makes a new loop, one thats around specs. wrist and one that you hold with fingertips. You tell the spectator to hold with the same hand, as the rubberband is, with the fingers to hold on to the twist. Now you lift and place the other loop of rubberband and slide it to the same place as the first loop. You and the spectator lets go the rubberband. Now the rubbernad is around 2 times the spectators wrist and he can freely moves is fingers around. You then turn his hand with the rubberband and saying: "Just wanna feel your pulse". The spectator will see that the rubberband goes around he wrist. Now, the magician dont need to touch the rubberband at all, it is just twisted around 2 times on specs. wrist. Then the magician grabs onto the rubberband and pulls to show that the rubberband is locked around the specs. wrist. The he pulls and the rubberband goes off from the wrist.

- The rubberband is a normal rubberband, and at the end whole
- The spectator himself could pull of the rubberband from his wrist
- No pain, could be a "snap" on the hand...
- Impromptu
- Only one rubberband used

I know, the technic is published, but it is just for solo-style but this is a new level and it all works to a certain thing.

Any comments?

There's something very similar in Walter Gibson's book "What's New in Magic". He uses a handkerchief tied in a loop, but doing it with a large rubber band would work very well.
