Word to the newbies...... such as I...... don't bloody frustrate yourself trying to do it with pennies just cos they're the nearest coins to you...... grrrrrrrr..... they're too hard to manipulate........2p is perfect..... if only I'd have gone to my tin first I wouldn't be frustrated LOL!!!

i can't do it.... I've yet to find a suitable surface.... my table is too hard and my seats too soft.... sob sob...

I'll get there tho...... oh and i.... oh bu**er can't say cos it reveals.... arghhhhh lol

Have you tried doing it on a carpet? I find that a good surface for most tricks, my close up mat is actually an old carpet off cut.

I use a tesco value doormat that cost me about 99p. Works brilliantly as a close up mat and costs much less.

I've started using an upturned mousemat for a CU mat.

I've had another problem with it tho which I've told Mog about - I will persevere tho... This isn't like Flight 204 say where the effort just doesnt justify the effect.... this is a great effect that I really want to get down so I've just got to persevere!
