Harnessing my Electric touch- Help needed

Postby iummydd » Dec 7th, '06, 16:31

So I got my electric touch several days ago, and today I already got everything installed and all was ready to try out my new remarkable ability. I remembered that when shocking a person you get 50% of the shock, so I planed on starting out with moving around some pieces from a gum wrap, was all fun and dingy and then I thought to myself how would the pieces move if I place the thing on "high", just as I flipped the switch to high and activated the gimmick it started to make a very weird noise of something between electric discharge and two small metal sticks "clunking" together. That was the first problem.

Then I changed the gimmick back to "low", and was ready to try giving someone a small "finger shock", I told my friend he is going to feel a small shock to his finger and I too, I touched his finger, and we both got a shock like we never got before, I mean, I got some static electricity shocks in my life, a lot especially the last few month (very cold and dry weather), but nothing was like that shock, I mean it has been about 20-25 minutes since and I am still scratching the finger I got the shock with! Is this normal? Because if this is the "low" shock I really don't want to know what is the "high" shock.
Any way, how can I make the shock less potent, so me and the person I'm giving the shock to won't go screaming curses because the shock was so damn strong?

Thanks for all the helpers

I've had the electric touch for a few months now and I've never recieved a shock of that capacity.
The unit is only 12V so it surely cant be that bad. I did once (while in the basement part of a bar, very well earthed) try to shcok someone whilst reaching through metal bars and pretty much frying myself but just shocking someone else I've never had any problems of that ilk.

Maybe try contacting the suppliers of your unit and see what they think?

While I do own this item I have to say that to use it as a shocking device will just eventually get you beat up.

I stand almost 6 feet tall and weigh more than 200 lb have been trained to defend myself and I don't go around shocking people. I suggest you don't either.

This unit dose however work very well to light florescent bulbs, move tobacco exc.

So If you use the as a PK device then I think your problems will be solved.

BTW shock the wrong person and an ass whopping will be the least of your problems if you were jailed because of hurting someone with a pace maker.

Just some things to think about.
