For me this is the most visual T&R there is and less complicated than the rest and i have tried most if not allwith this one you will feel comfortable doing, anywhere in public close up strolling, etc.But like anything practice makes perfect But with this one you have less moves and oieces to worry about, the moves become natural The D.V.D.is exellent,a must watch,if you want a video Dem, go to www.penguinmagic.com

I agree, this is an excellent effect - however, I don't think it's less complicated or easier than other versions. More visual - definitely! But, it takes a while to get this one perfect.

The effect of this trick is good, as long as you succeed in keeping the spectator at a distance - which is quite hard because it is exactly the kind of effect that lures them closer. It is very angle-sensitive and for some reason easy to crack. The spectators may not know the precise movements that are involved, but they do get a good impression of the overall methods.

a really cool effect but very hard. uses to much slieght of hand. and you really need to be a precise bender for it.

id go with something more useful from him. like the projects

How can an affect use ''too much sleight of hand'' !!?????!!

This effect is pure bliss and puts people into states of silence.. the angles arent terribly bad.. Ive had people up to a 45 degree angle either side of me and it has been fine..

The method is easy, the steps are easy once memorised and presentation is everything.. though with an effect this strong silence speaks volumes.. I usually speak beforehand and the presentation is here then shut up when the 'magic' happens.. ive seen people hold their breath in anticipation!!

And no.. no rvoice you shouldnt really have that in your post, that borders on unintentional exposure in my honest opinion!!

i disagree he didnt tell how the secret was done adn didnt say really anything at all, to much slieght of hand to clean up each move i mean, like the twisting of the cards

The only way the moves would be fiddly is with malpractice.. If you practice enough you should have this down smooth.

The 'sleight of hand' you refer to takes literally seconds and if you just make out like you are smoothening the edges it completely takes the heat off what you are doing!! Torn is THE MOST visual and clean torn and restorn routine I know. Most torn and restorn routines are very fiddly as you have to 'go do the moves' which means you need a lot of cover. The cover in TORN is virtually non-existent, the only cover comes AFTER each restoration, which means the real 'sleight of hand' has been done and the cover you are refering to is just slight adjustment ready for the next restoration.. You should really give this more time and effort in order to get it down.. What do you expect? There to be no moves????

I.D i totally agree with you i have just bought this trick and i am stunned with how good it is. however i think we might be fighting a losing battle with the "i don't want to practice for more than 5 minutes" crowd. fortunately for us we will have a killer effect that we will be able to fit into a routine that will blow people away. all the others can continue to be Blaine wannabes. plus if you look closely you'll see that most if not all of the decenting voices are from members with less than 25 posts says a lot about their experience and knowledge i feel. guys sorry if you feel that magic tricks are too difficult to spend more than 5 minutes practicing maybe you should find a different hobbey and stop wasting yours and our time.

I know but rvoice has been joined over a year before me!!

I agree though, Im glad they dont like it, it means less people have such a killer effect in their arsenal!!

This effect blows people away, it looks like real magic. Anyone who cant be bothered to learn it obviously does not appreciate well constructed and designed magic

This is a brilliant trick, one of the best torn and restored tricks out there in my opinion.

The sleights aren't over compliated and the angle not too bad as long as you're careful. Take the time to really learn and perfect this and it's well worth it.

no i have practised this trick alot. iv riped up prac6tically every bicicle card i own. i find it exstreamly dificult to do the setup for the trick. it has to be so precise or the whole trick is ruined. iv tried it on multiple people and they all got it. theres another reason id rather go with fraud, or kaos.

thats why you need to practice more. Why is it some people can do this perfectly and others cant.. people who can do this practice more. The stup is easy as it could possibly be. and you just have to watch your angles.

Then again, if you dont believe you can pull this off you never will

the setup takes literally about 1 minute and your good to go, if your still finding it difficult i suggest you get a gimmick deck and not bother trying to do anytricks rated higher than self working. this trick is gonna take maybe a week of practice to work and remember then a little while to make your own but seriously if you can't be bothered with the hassle why are you bothering to do magic
