Arrived yesterday!

are the rubber soles really necessary for this? What would happen if they were not worn?

Have any of you bought the ET accessory kit? I head it comes with a way to quickly transfer it, and also comes with a case to help it in case it breaks. I was wondering wether or not you think it is worth it.

Also, I heard a rumor about a P.E.T.S system for installing it, which happens to work pretty well. How would you get a hold of it?

another thing you can do with ET

Postby lxzer » Feb 21st, '08, 01:30

another thing you can do with et is you can open up any random book that can lie down on a table and you can pass your hands over it and the page will flip by itself because of the electricty :D

Here's a UK website for batteries, it also has a picture of each battery - which is handy if you're slightly unsure of what kind you're looking for:

can anyone vouch for a specific type of battery that comes in 23A size - sometimes the unknown names tend to be a bit c*** (not the best) and dont have much life.

get duracell or energiser (the latter last slightly longer, but the first have a higher charge given more output).

I think it's these that you want

bu**er - didnt know they had other names than A23. Anyone know where to get these locally, rather then ordering online? Where do you all pick them up from? A

tescos and woolies did them last time i looked, but they can be anything up to 2.50 each!
times that by 4 and you have a hefty running cost.

buying a box of 30 online cost me about 80p each.

I don't have Electric Touch so have no idea as to the size and location of the,, er, power supply but would it be possible to use AAs in a battery holder in a separate pocket and wire it up to Electric Touch? I'm thinking that rechargables, or lower cost AAs, might then be a possibility? On the other hand I might be (once again) talking a load of old cobbl, er, rubbish.... :?
