Import tax is a pain but as long as the packet is small you can usually get away with it.

My boyfriend is always buying bike parts from the US, he gets the company to ship all the items seperatly so there's less chance of getting collared.

Well I bought two packages

Silver dream DVD, 3 half dollars and shell in one order

Dream of Aces DVD, 3 pack of Masters, Joe Porper clip, and fanning powder in the other.

Hopefully they will weigh pretty light so I wont get collared.

I.D.....

Ninja coins; nice, I have a few regular matching coins I use for other effect first which realy sells it.

Strange travellers; nice effect, although I believe siege also has the pot of jam DVD which allows for a similar effect with 2 phases (I have, in fact, figured out a third and possibly fourth mindblowing phase). Definately not self working and a bit ballsy but totally ungimmicked and great to accomlish.

cig thru coin; currently residing in my drawer, occasionally take it out but more often than not forget to use it while performing the myriad of other stuff I do.

Art of Astonishment; buy them, you know you want to ;)

not a fan of sigs, so I won't bother adding o..... oh

talking to boyfriend last night he said one way to get around it is to get the shop to either unpack the items so that they're then classed as second hand, or get the seller to send them as a 'gift'.

Although not exactly legal I'm sure.

Lady of Mystery its not legal, my step father works in shipping / export packing and he writes out customs labels and people say can you put it down as a gift and his answer is no, it is more then my job is worth.
