Hello Everyone, my name is Myer Goldstein. I have been a magician for over 20 years. From what I have read, this board is mostly made up of residents of the U.K. Please don't hold the fact that I'm a Yank against me. Instead, feel free to ridicule me because the bulk of my profesional business is Balloons and not Magic.

I found this board because I googled "Run Rabbit Run". I bought one (used, it's the Die-Cast Metal version) about 6 months ago from an Estate Sale/Charity Benefit Auction here in Las Vegas, where I live. I know how to use the apparatus, but I don't have a decent routine for it. Well anyway, that's how I found this board.

I do mostly balloon creations in Restaurants for tips where I also hand out alot of cards and book parties. I do a Magic and Balloon Birthday Show, and I also do Airbrush Tattoos as an added value item. My Character is "Dr. B.A.Loonatic". I stumbled upon this little gem of an idea on Halloween a few years ago. My girlfriend is a licensed nurse. We costumed as "Doc Frankie and Nurse Bratt". While in costume I noticed that the lab coat had all these WONDERFUL POCKETS that are a natural for a professional performer. That was the night that "Dr. B.A.Loonatic" was born.

In addition to my overstuffed Balloon Apron I routinely fill my lab coat pockets with a couple of TTs, a 9" silk, Color Monte, ID, A Break Away Wand, a Million-Dollar bill, a Flaming Wallet/card in wallet, a "straight" deck of cards, and a Harmonica for playing "Happy Birthday".

Well, it's getting REAL LATE here. I'm an all-night kind of person. My "normal" bed-time is between 3-5am and it's now 6:30am. I'll check back tomorrow and give this board some more attention. As I said I just stumbled upon it and created a profile. I thought I would post a reply in the topic, " Talkmagic.co.uk Forum Index -> Magic Wanted -> Run Rabbit Run" but I learned that access is only available to "full members". No problem there, I completely understand. I hope that you will find my contributions worthwhile. The thread I am referring to is 6 months old, so I don't think anything I might have to say on the subject is very time-sensitive.

Welcome to TM! Curiously I am a magician of the rare species that do NOT do balloon animals in my kid shows!!!

Magic is slight of mind!

Welcome to Talk Magic, I hope you enjoy your stay.
I just got a beginners balloon-animal-making set yesterday (for Christmas) but I haven't used it yet. Might get it out in a minute actually.

Anyway, enjoy the boards and have fun!

Jack.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
