So I was wondering, seeing as we all always have so many spectators.

Whats the ratio of Magicians:Laypeople/Non-Magicians?

Its got to be quite big right?

1:a few hundred?

Does anyone know the average number? I'm just quite curious.

It depends how you define magician ( working pro / amatuer hobbyist / obssessed lunatic). I should think that working pro's are small in number, but there's obviously alot of young kids who think it's clever to just be a magician. Otherwise, how would Ellusionist make so much money.

I'm not sure how many to be honest, but when I see magic exposure on popular sites like wikipedia and youtube I really wish there were less magicians. Then there wouldn't be so many giving the secrets away for stupid reasons.
