Hello! & A Happy New Year

Postby Zarrow » Jan 5th, '07, 23:11

Hi, :D A short intro to me to anyone who is interested before I start posting!

Im 27 and have been interested in magic from a young age. Over the last 4 year this interested has become an addiction as some of you will understand! I now understand the difference between doing a few card tricks(as I have for years) and becoming magican(living and breathing magic)

This was largly in part to Mr D Blaines street magic, and Mr Browns strange antics.

Main interests are card magic, and metal bending/mentalisum, but the two seldom mix! Any magic is facinating but I realy only perform the previouse.

I would give my skill level as a skill amature hobbist, perfoming for friends am famaliy and stangers when I go out.

My favourt peace of magic advice is:- Be one step ahead of the game, before anyone knows a game is being played! Not sure where i heard this but I love it!

I am at a point were Im am being encoraged to make some money from my hobby, probable rasturant walkaround.( any advice here would be geatly aprechated)

So thats about it, loving the posts in this forum, some very interesting topitc and advice.

Thanks for reading

Z

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

Hi and welcome! There are several previous threads on Restaurant work/Table Hopping, fees, suitable types and quantities of effects etc so kick the Search function into action and dig into the records, it's all in there somewhere  !

Thanks for all the friendly hellos!

Im am in the north devon area, for you who asked. This is both great(not many people have seen much magic in person) and suck cos no magic clubs or lectures close by! any north devon magicans out there!

Traveled to southhampton to see david stones lecture, which was great, highly recommend, and stone fans?
