CoinOne- 2 pound coin ex*****d sh**l ?

Postby Atomo » Jan 7th, '07, 17:45

Hi everyone,

finally got broadband in my new place, and immediatly came here to see whats new, and to ask some advice from fellow coin workers.

I have just ordered Homer Liwags CoinOne, and im now looking to buy the gimmick needed to go with this coins across routine. In america this is performed with silver dollars, but more and more i am trying to only use uk coins. Does anyone know where i can get a good 2 pound ex*****d sh**l? i already own 2p and half dollar sh**ls but i think this routine would look lovely with the slightly bigger 2 pound coins.

also , any comments or tips one the CoinOne routine, and the sleights required would be cool, id like to get a bit of practice in while im waiting for it to be delivered from the states.

If your interested in his work, check out this video of Homer Liwag performing a great trick for someone at a house party in NY. Hes got skills!

happy new year

Thanks Stevie!

dont know why i didnt spot that earlier. A little on the expensive side, i think i'll give it a try with the Sh**ls i've got already and see how it looks.

does anyone else out there have CoinOne, and if so which is your preffered sh**l to use for the routine?

I don't own CoinOne but I must say that it did get me thinking about going into coin magic. It looks awesome!!! :D I heard that the DVD itself is fantastically made? True?

On a side note, did anyone watch Homer Liwag and Chris Kenner's video "Brokeback Magic Mountain"?? It hilarious!

Larry Jennings "Peripatetic Coins" is very similar to this but only uses one s***l found in his book "the Classic magic of Larry Jennings". you could probably pick it up for the same price of this dvd and learn far far more
