Can't be bad. With some of the pictures though, I couldn't help wondering why they'd take such a boring snap with such a lot of space around the sitter and place him so far away, unless it was intended that the picture would contain something more later.

I love sprit photography, created a load of these and made a montage when I was at college. Great fun.

i love the sheer audacity and inventiveness of the Victorians...even their penny-lick ice-creams...with added lead!

genius...should be a new ben 'n jerry's flavour...

Has anyone ever tried aura (Kirlian) photography? It's rather beautiful, and the true believers go crazy.

EDIT: Here's an example:

oooh...not heard of that...

when i did photography at college, i used to place objects ontop of sheets of photgraphic paper and shoot light straight down onto it...when you get it right, it looks kinda like an x-ray...especially with semi-porous kinda items...

WOW that's stunning!

I've never really done much photography except the sprit photography I did as part of my art A Level. It's something that I've always fancied having a go, just never really had the time.

There's a full tutorial on building a Kirlian camera here: http://www.imagesco.com/articles/kirlian/01.html

I've personally seen those 'orbs' that people say are linked to ghosts. It is rather spooky actually. I was on a ghost walk in Devon, and this one man in the group and some high tech camera and was taking laods of pictures, about thee of them had these orbs in them. I was right next to him looking at the screen when he took a picture of one.

Some people say that they are particles of dust, others say that they are balls of energy that are found where spirits 'hang out', which is weird because they only seemed to appear in the places that something happened. [Like the place somebody died or where a spirirt can occasionally be seen]

Here's a surprising (given the web site) feature on orbs:

I get 'orbs' on some of my digital photos, usually shots taken with the flash which strongly suggests dust particles close to the lens being illuminated so I wouldn't automatically assume any paranormal appearances. The worst part is that it takes ages to edit them out  !
