Tommy Cooper Magic shop

Postby syoung » Jan 12th, '07, 17:03

Hi lozey
If you stand looking out to sea, turn left and keep walking along the front. It's practically the last shop before you leave Blackpool.
About 150 meters past the Fun fair.
Look out for the high roller coaster, walk to it, then a bit more. It's a very small shop but well worth a visit.(Something like 15 minutes from the winter gardens)
Or take a tram along the front.
I spoke to the guy a couple of days ago and he said he is one of the dealers at the convention, so you could sit tight and let him come to you.

Regards
STEVE

Hey jericbilo!

Here is a good website where you can search B&B in Blackpool:
http://www.bedandbreakfast-directory.co.uk/default.htm

Keep in mind, if you want to stay close to the Winter Gardens, search for ones in: Albert Road, Charnley Road, Coronation St, Hornby Road, Reads Ave, Vance Rd or Hull Road. Then you'll be close to Winters Garden.

I will be staying at Clarron House, practically in the back yard of the Winter Garden. The e-mail address is: annodonnell22@aol.com I don't know if they are completely full, but perhaps she could reccomend you something next door

Cheers!

I'm on the list twice, btw.

I was able to book a hotel on Albert Road Last night. Pretty cheap! I think they still have rooms available. PM me for the info.

Personallly I wouldnt want to risk just turning up on the day. The tickets are apparently selling really fast this year.

A group TM photo would be nice...
