Hi, just a quick note to intoduce myself.

My name is Nick and despite having been interested in magic for many years and being an avid vistor to your site, i have only just got round to registering officially and contributing to the community! :)

I have collected a variety of effects over the years, and have found your reviews section to be very useful in tracking down those that suit my routines (non-card mainly).

I look forward to being part of this great club! :D

Nick

Hello there Nick from Southampton and welcome to TM.
It's interesting that you have routines mostly without cards, would you mind telling us what kind you are mainly doing?
A lot of us are mainly in cards or mainly in mentalism, so your input would be fun to read :)
With warm greetings from Iceland!

Well i started out doing coin magic just for kicks and for entertaining friends down the local pub, and then i ran into someone who pointed me in the direction of Bob Cassidy and since then the works of Banachek and Knepper....hehe i seem to enjoy the spectator's reaction when they think what they are seeing is real and more than just a trick, which i find isn't the case with most card effects. Although i am totally stunned with admiration with what some people can do with a deck!!

What i am doing these days is now mainly mentalism effects but trying to come up with new and inventive ways of revealing the predictions, hence my question regarding different methods of igniting flash paper etc

If you're buying, mine's a Balvenie.

I trust thats a shot, not the whole bottle!?!!
