One of the best pointers for performing Kaos:

If you're on a high floor of an office building, don't try and perform this effect on an exterior window. When you go outside to get the card, you will fall and die.

I like the method on memorising a deck of cards...might have to give that a go...

that first card was an ace of clubs
E I E I O
with an ace of clubs here
and an ace of clubs there
Hank Houdini had some cards
E I E I O

(I hope that doesn't count as exposing one of the methods - it does work! I have no problem memorising the ace of clubs now!)
