i've had an idea....i've not split a card in my life, but! im guessing this should work...

split a blank facer, and place "inside" it, a small selection of cut out hearts, and re-add the back...so when it's torn, the hearts would pour out of it...

maybe even limit them to a previously thought of/selected card...so seven could fall out... :?: is that possible?

I had a bad experience on the way to work this morning.

I was overtaken on the A45 (on the inside!) by a lady driving a pink Renault Megane. Not a bright pink but that creamy coloured pink like old fashioned cough mixture or Camomile lotion. On the dashboard was a fluffy pink toy rabbit and I'm sure the interior was a pink colour but couldn't be sure. It put me right off my breakfast!

I forget the name of the effect, but it's listed in the Encyclopaedia of Card Tricks. A deck with a rectangular hole cut through each card hangs on a ribbon and all sorts of chicanery happens when the pack is covered by a silk. The classic trick is to have a card selected and returned to the pack, slip the ribbon through the pack, then the selected card is removed from the centre of the deck. For pink and fluffy purposes, though, I envision cards starting at either end of the deck meeting together in the middle.

A very similar effect to the one you have described is on Sankeys revolutionary card magic. I think it is called "Practice deck". A deck which is hole punched and attached is taken off the string, the cards are examined, then 3 cards chosen by the specator and placed back in the deck and the string re-attached.
It is at this point the string is yanked and the string comes out leaving three cards on it and no holes in the full deck.

Not sure how helpful typing that all out was but I've written now and haven't the heart to delete it all.

Probably a very impractical thought but how about cut and restored pink feather boa - same moves as for ropes but more delicate and feminine? OK, you might lose a few feathers each time but if the cuts were made carefully it might work.

Also how about something to do with those long thin 'stole' type silk scarves? I know you can get a colour changing one which goes from jet black to rainbow colours and back again if you feel so inclined. (And before anybody asks, the only reason I remembered that is e-magictricks.co.uk used to sell it but under the US spelling of 'Color Changing Scarf' and UK enquirers were using 'Colour' when Searching so couldn't find it on that site. Honest!)
