Which is the best way to travel to Blackpool. I arrive to London from Israel on the 21st late in the evening. on the 22.2 in the afternoon and back on the 26.2 noon time? If by train I looked up the Trainline and found big price differences. What is the difference between the ticket types. And also, how to I find a decent guest house or hotel near the venue.

Firstly, if you haven;t booked accommodation already then you'll be unlikely to find anything close by that's half decent.

Train is definately your best bet and I would recommend an economy ticket which means that you will need to travel after 09:00 hours which avoids the premium 'commuter' times.

try virgin trains they usually have some good deals . will have to change at preston tho.

The train station you want is Euston. You can either change to a Blackpool train at Stockport (just south of Manchester) if you catch a Manchester train, and also Preston if you catch one going to Glasgow or Edinburgh. Manchester trains depart every hour or so. Over here, simply hopping on a train is expensive, so it's a good idea to book your tickets in advance and pick them up at the ticket office on the concourse at Euston. That way you can get a substantial discount.
