I was just wondering if anybody had any idea's as to how to perform a sword through neck illusion, but without using the collar?.....i have a sword and i have a neck...i just need to figure out how to shove it through, without killling myself. can someone please help me. dont tell me exactly how..but maybe just get my headed in the right direction?. Dexion ( i belive thats who they are) on Worlds Greatest Magic in 1994. they performed this illusion without any collar, and its amazing...thats what has inspired me...i have thought for a while, and im not getting anywhere. pleasee help...

Most sword effects of the kind you describe at in the 1000 to 1500 dollar mark. I would scour the 'history of' books and perhaps do some research on stage illusions. There are some manuscripts about that may well give some clear as to the design of such an effect.
