I think you need a premium hotmail account to access it via pop?

I may be wrong!

I used to use Wanadoo with Mail - that worked fine. Of course now it's been taken over by Orange and there were a few issues with my account, but I imagine it'd still work.

I have had this problom before trying to get a new skype password saying they have sent me a new activation link I was waiting but did not get anythink. It turns out I report and delete in stead of allow sender and if you report and delete you will not get any more emails from them again. if your email is hotmail you would go to options scrow down to more options there will be a choice of options from there you can add how you want to send you eamil and your find if you ad them emails to allowed and you will receive your myspace new activation link

Allowed and blocked senders

Allowed senders
Manage who is allowed to send you e-mail. Messages from allowed senders will not be sent to the junk e-mail folder.

Allowed mailing lists
Manage which mailing lists are sent to your account. Messages to allowed mailing lists will not be sent to the junk e-mail folder.

Blocked senders
Manage who is blocked from sending you e-mail. Messages from these senders will be marked as junk and sent to the junk e-mail folder.

I hope that i have help you in some way.

The simple option - get gmail. It can be used with Pop3...

And is just quite simply the best email service I've ever come accross.

there was problom last friday with some customer complaints that both MSN Messenger and Hotmail have been intermittently inaccessible in recent days, a representative said.

Hotmail users have complained to CNET News.com that the service could not be accessed several times during the day last Friday. Microsoft's instant-messaging application, MSN Messenger, also had connectivity problems.

"This morning, MSN customers began experiencing issues accessing various services, such as Messenger [and] Hotmail," a Microsoft representative said. "Microsoft is currently determining the cause and is taking appropriate steps to remedy the situation as quickly as possible."

The Hotmail Web site and other Passport-powered sites could only be successfully accessed 50 per cent of the time, according to Internet performance measurement service Keynote Systems. Usually, the sites can be accessed 100 per cent of the time.

Although Microsoft did not finger Passport as the cause of the issues, a hiccup in the affected services could be explained by problems in the company's Internet identity service, said Roopak Patel, senior analyst at Keynote.

"If there is an issue, it is causing the same effects across different [Microsoft] domains," Patel said, adding, "It's not impacting the Internet as a whole."

Microsoft's identity service has been stable in recent history, but Passport has had its share of troubles.

Almost a year ago, a flaw in the system could have allowed an attacker to access customer information using only the victim's email address. Software flaws in the system's security also left consumers' financial data vulnerable, forcing Microsoft to shut down its Wallet service to protect people from having their data stolen.

Microsoft does not believe that the current issue could affect customer data, the representative said.

if that link does not work you might have to copy past it in to the address bar or copy past then go to file then open past the it in the bar then click ok

i hope that has help in some way if notthere be someone that will no how to do it for you goodluck
