I don't believe in fairies.

Don't you know that everytime someone says that, a faery somewhere dies?

That's the spirit. Let's keep this thread strictly nauseating-pink free.

Oops, can't help myself: I don't believe in fairies.

I once saw light at the end of the tunnel and rushed towards it. Then some p*llock turned it off.....

I often feel I could play my part in life much better if someone would just give me a copy of the script.....

I'm usually an eternal optimist and wouldn't complain......

But its hard to stay positive when in the last 7 days I've had to do 10 hours of unpaid overtime, I didn't get home from work last night till 8:45 as the motorway was closed- which in turn made me lose out on my buying my mum's 50th b'day present of ebay. Also by the time I g home all the pancakes were sold out at the shop across the road so I didn't get any.

Then I woke up this morning feeling as if someone hit me on the forehead with an axe and I think I need a plumber for my nose.

Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.

Well, the green and slimey mood returns...

Decided to fix a leaky tap in our upstairs bathroom last night... a simple job?

OK, so first turn off the mains cold supply to the tap, and get to the business of getting the washer replaced in the body.

Fine... except that the washer isn't the problem—the seat inside the tap is totally F.U.B.A.R., so even changing the washer won't help...

Well—let's do the job properly and replace the tap, methinks.

A quick visit to the local Wickes (well, a 1.5hr round trip) later and gorgeous pair of quarter-turn ceramic taps in hand I return to the house.

Unfortunately, during my away-time, Mrs Seige has returned home from work. Why unfortunate?

Well, muggins here had left the cold supply off at the main, and unbeknown to Mrs Seige, this causes havoc with electric showers. And toilets.

So, 2 hours later, and the lovely Wickes taps go safely back in their box. Why? Because the thread exit at the bottom is too short. And without adding more pipe to the underside of the basin, it just ain't gonna work.

Furthermore, we now have a basin with no taps. And further to that, I had to cap the ends of the pipes so we could turn the hot & cold water back on. Thank goodness for rubber sheeting and jubilee clips.

And so, here I sit, feeling all green and slimey—hoping that when I get home the 'caps' have remained seated and our upstairs bathroom doesn't resemble a swamp.

Believe it or not I'm having a green and slimey afternoon.

They're moving me out of my nice cosey little office, into a horrible, big open planned thing!

My slime today involves Belgian and German suppliers who are letting me down and bringing the wrath of ten Gods down on me courtesy of my customers.

Can anyone name 3 good things for me to come out of belgium??
