Definative Conventions list

Postby The Magic Attic » Feb 21st, '07, 03:00

As most of you will know, there is nearly a convention of sorts every week, but trying to find out whats on and where is another matter. magicweek lists those that advertise with them. Could the mods create a weekly dairy of whats on around the country. if there is already a diary... i cant find it in search. i know it would be very helpful, on those weekends with nothing to do (i wish!). or start one here :D

jan -
feb - 23-25 - blackpool magic convention
mar -
april -
may -
jun -
july -
aug -
sept - 11-16 - british ring - southport
oct - 28 - portsmouth & district magic circle jumbo day
nov - 23 - 25 - international magic - london
dec -

thats about all i can find.... at the mo... its late... lol

I have a Calendar of Magic and Related Arts events on my site that it about as up-to-date and world-wide as any you will find on the Internet (brag-brag).

A direct link to it is here:

to make it easier

it'd be grand if people involved with conventions and events all posted to www.upcoming.org - a website that handles the navitgation of events very nicely (and allows rss and calendar subscription i believe).

Until you can get every person in the world who handles events for his or her organization to comply with your request, you can always go to my calendar at http://magicnook.com/calendar/calendar.htm and find out what they have forgotten to tell you. That's because I go looking for the events, and I don't depend on anyone to come looking for me! :D

if you could break that down by country, add rss feeds and ical subscription you'd be onto a winner imho. infact, the ability to have an rss feed for a specific country or even city would make your website even more useful than it is already.
