Good news for me / bad for you guys - I have just got my hate filled disco covered so I will be thrusting myself upon you again - should be there by 4pm ish, maybe 5pm, but then it could be earlier, or later, depending on things either within or without my control....

Note to self: lager kills memdeck. And any kind of magic. Still, I embarrassed myself with a member of the public, which is a kind of progress...

Well sadly good old British Rail put paid to my trip to the meet - jammed level crossing gates and a woefully inept bus transfer left me peed off and soaking wet so I went home instead.
Still - there is always next time
Is anyone going to do a write up of this one?

Can i just point out to all the NEWBIES out there, they honestly are a good lot, very welcoming (well except you, you know who you are!) and twas very funny in places.
Although i do believe you have to have a sense of humour and a strong liver to enjoy fully, i only had one of those and still loved it. (ill let you figure which ...)
Hopefully my little post will encourage others to come out of the woodwork and join the foray.

Hey nice to meet you all on Saturday, really enjoyed it. The afternoon drinking killed me and I was in my bed by 10!
Def along to another one though the 15th November is my birthday so I dare say I'll be out afternoon drinking elsewhere.

I think the dates are quite random, the last one just happened to be the first saturday of the month.
I don't mind, I'm a gate crasher on the southern ones so not to worry if you want to do the 1st November (I have a halloween booking and I suspect others might as well)
I think the usual practice is people throw out a date, people discuss say they can come or not and then it's settled.
