Korean action/revenge flick from maybe my favourite director of the moment. Also made Oldboy and Sympathy for Mr. Vengence. Please watch Oldboy before Hollywood remake it and spoil it as they have with the Japanese Horror genre

I'll second that !

Sexy beast is an insane film, although it trails off a bit. Prefer Love honour and obey to be honest.

I rewatched "being there" recently, my girlfriend had never seen it. One of Peter Sellers' last films (maybe THE last Sellers film?), it is a must see. Never really laugh out loud funny but hilarious all the way through nonetheless. One of my absolute all time favorites. Genious.

That aside, Blood Diamond is worth a watch, saw that the other day.

As far as other all time faves;

Alien/Aliens
Life of Brian (need I say more)
Chopper (The Mark Brandon Reid story. What a nutcase)
Lost boys
Scarface
The serpent and the rainbow (early wes craven, scary as f*** in the graveyard!)

all have to be in there somewhere.

not a fan of sigs, so I won't bother adding o..... oh

I've just remembered a really good, positive film I saw recently. The Castle. It's Australian, about a really optimistic family living at the end of a runway and threatened with compulsory purchase. Nothing very important happens, no one dies, nothing. It's just a really good film.

Ever seen Erasorhead? That's one disturbing film.

Alongside The Elephant Man, Lynch's finest.
Up Pompeii is a firm favourite of mine as are most of the Carry On films (particularly the ones with Charles Hawtrey in)

Ive seen the love film advertised on the internet but im always wary of things like that on the internet incase there a scam or something but love film obviously isnt if you use it. I might check out there site.

I use Love Film and never had a problem. In fact I've been pleasantly surprised. I get 2 DVDs at a time and usually get TV series, especially the old ones. Recently, I got all of the House of Cards Trilogy.

The most recent film I watched at the cinema was Hot Fuzz, which I thought was so-so. The one before that was Last King of Scotland which was better.

Hot Fuzz i thought was good, quite funny, but all over the place. I think it was trying to be Shaun of the Dead too much, with all the repeat jokes and quick flashes of action. I'll give it a 3/5 star rating.

Has anybody seen 'The Number 23' yet with Jim Carrey? Any thoughts? It looks quite interesting! I might have to go for Orange Wednesdays next week!

I was born with Multiple Personality Disorder. Luckily, they are all me, they just dont always get along...
