Triumph over Youtube

First, the link to an amazing triumph variation

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-RUEabVLvI

I know how triumph works, but this "culling" technique shown in this video ( i dont know what a cull is) is amazing. Anyone know a book I could learn this move from?

If i had a signature it would be

Not a "trick" but rather an application of an excellent culling technique!! This technique is also excellent in setting up a R/B separation under the guise of another effect!
I have watched a video by Christian Chelman (I forgot the title but its from internation magic) where he speak quite alot about the cull, though the filming of the technique is not perfect. Maybe there is a better source, but I am not aware of it.

Magic is slight of mind!

Hello,

That is Kostya Kimlat's effect titled "Cull-igula"

An explanation of this can be found in his "Magic Experiments with the Art & Thoughts on the Artistry" lecture notes, as well as an explanation of the roadrunner cull.

Hope that helps,

pdbpdb.

Awesome, first $20 i get, i'll be looking forward to reading that. Thanks. This style is more to my liking, rather than the shuffles involved for the normal triumph. I may even use this technique after the 'normal' triumph, to trip them up some more. Who knows, but i appreciate the help. :)

i've been looking for the lecture notes, everywhere i've checked say they're sold out, out of print, etc. but i've found Kostya's email address, and hope to find some way of obtaining this. Agh,
mailto:k@kmagic.com.
i found this on another forum site, by Kostya himself. I hope this helps. That roadrunner cull technique seems so disgusting I must learn it. I'm sure you could mix that move with others to create some interesting effects. My brain hurts in anticipation. If not, then i must find other deck sorting techniques and reverse engineer this method! Like a mad scientist!
