I have been working on a new effect recently. With all new effects I give them to people to test out, discover any problems etc. etc. What I want is someone to test out one of my new idea and give me some feedback. Did it work in all circumstances, anything unexpected happen and so on.

The effect is this.

Magician tells spec that he will magically make a selected card disappear and reappear inside an sealed envelope inside his jacket pocket. His jacket is done up throughout the effect and he does not go into it until it is time to take out the envelope. The card is selected by the spec and put face down on the table. The magician waves his hand over the card expecting it to vanish. It doesn't. Problems!?

"Were you wearing a watch?" he asks the spec. She looks down to discover her watch is missing. The magician opens his jacket (for the first time) and removes a sealed envelope. Showing his hands empty, he opens the envelope. The missing watch is inside.

Obviously, the idea is that as you waived your hand over the table you missed a bit and magicked the watch away instead of the card.

Haha, that sounds like a pretty good (and funny) trick! I'll test it out some for you, my friends love it when i have new tricks.
