Its on Paul Gertners Silver and Steel dvd... vol 2 I think, its all faro shuffles, no gimmicks.

Interesting concept.

You can buy it from any store that sells playing cards and sharpies. The technique is pretty straight forward.

And yeah, he is kinda boring!

The StackView software might be of use, also. The Faro shuffle is one I've not learnt yet. I will if you will.

Nah, you don't need the stackview software matey, it's a very simple concept when you think about it.

You could even do this with one hand.

It took me 20 minutes to learn the perfect faro. It isn't hard and was one of the most rewarding things I did for myself. I'm not saying im some super card genius that can learn it so quickly, but I think anyone with proper direction could learn it quite rapidly if they had the focus to attempt.

It is a knack thing but the Hitman of magic teaches it on one of his videos in a perfect way. I couldn't do it one handed, but I think until you are absolutely non-chalant with it, it looks a little suspicious anyway. Unless you ONLY shuffle a deck of cards in that manner. But... this isn't a performance philosophy thread anyway.

Ah yes. Expert Card Technique explains it well. I had an hour of practice on it and only managed a perfect shuffle twice. Still working on it.
