Encyclopedia of card tricks by Jean Hugard has hundreds of tricks that should keep you satisfied for a while. A lot of them don't require sleights but a fair few need preparation and gimmicked decks.

Or try the old favourite on here- Royal Road To Card Magic. It teaches a great deal about sleights and impromptu magic. But you'll need to put the time and practise into this book.

Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.

Also Lybrary.com sell quite a few booklet style items. Not a huge number of tricks, and they tend to build on the knowledge in Royal Road, but they're contemporary tricks, and generally you'll have the effect described before you buy, so you can better cherrypick the kind of tricks you're after.

then the only thing left is the method.

I'd have to go with Royal Road, if it's cards you want to do. Very good price and enough material in there to keep you going for ages

I second checking out Lybrary.com - it's a great site.

I'd also highly recommend any e-book from Peter Duffie. Incredibly reasonable prices - and aside from offering around 15 effects per ebook - his ecclectic approaches will also introduce you to some of the more obscure sleights and card plots that are around. I'm a HUGE fan of his work. Much of his stuff is available at lybrary.

Two excellent choices would be England Up Close and Scotland Up Close - both excellent ebooks just JAMMED with great card magic.

If you're new to card magic - then definitely pick up Royal Road and Encyclopedia of Card Magic (even if you're not new - pick them up).

you could also check out http://www.magic-notes.com/ - they have a nice library of magic, though it's not all card magic.
