Routine for Wow Wallet

Postby lindz » Mar 8th, '07, 00:41

Ive just got my wow wallet through today and ive been busy all day trying to put a routine thats different to everyone else and i think ive got a good one so i would like to know what people think of my routine. Also if anyone as got any tips to improve it they would be most welcome. I have been trying to think of a way to take all the heat off the wallet completely so here goes.

I take a card out of the deck{this can be any card} for this instance say it's 7 of spades and show it to all the specs except one. then i ask the spec who hasent seen it if i can put her in trance in other words hypnotize her. Then ill draw attention to the wallet and ill say because im just starting in hypnotism the university have given me this wallet because the squares which are on it helps get you in a trance and ill say something like a bit like the clock they used to use in the olden days when they used to swing it to and throw. Then ill put the card in the wallet put the spec in a trance and show everyone the card in the wallet once more then ill snap my fingers and the spec will wake up and ill ask her to tell me which card she sees in the wallet and ill immediately show the rest of the audiance the origanal 7 of spades which they have seen all the time. The spec which has been put in a trance will shout out 6 of hearts. Then ill put the spec back to sleep and wake the spec back to there origanal state and again ill ask her what she saw and she will say 6 of hearts again. Then ill ask one of the specs who has seen the origanal card and they will say 7 of spades. Then ill pull the card out of the wow sleeve and show the spec it has been 7 of spades all the time.

So what does everyone think any feedback will be appreciated.

Very good idea with a bit of audience management. Luke Jermay has an effect called Reversed Gestalt Moment which is pretty much the same effect but by sleight, youur idea of using the little squares on the wallet as a red herring certainly holds water, let us know how you get on.

The artist who does not rise, descends.
