Im green and slimy

I got assualted yesterday at work.. this guy threathened to smash my face in with a table ( he had me by the throat and the table up against my face ), ripped my jumper trying to make me go outside and fight him ( I wanted to but Im smarter than that.. we were in the pool room at work )

Anyway, he has been suspended and will most likely get the sack!! But now everybody hates me as they are giving me dirty looks and ignoring me and looking down on me ( even my supposed mates ).

I dont even like this guy who is getting sacked, we never see eye to eye but I hear talk today how ' you shouldnt snitch on your mates' etc.

1) this isnt the playground and we are not at school.
2) I didnt feel intimidated by him, but I dont come to work to get manhandled.

Why will people not see my point of view? I have 3 people on my side out of about 250 people.

if they're reacting that way, then they're not your mates...

you werent in the wrong, you didnt provoke...any problems from other staff, just say you'll take it further if it carries on...strictly business...

glad the bloke is getting sacked though...

two of my best mates ( I say best mates as I do socialise with them outised work, not having any other mates in Nottingham due to me just having moved here ) wont talk to me, one even walked past me and whispered 'f***ing loser'

Now my only friends left are all in Birmingham

What gets me.. the guy is 20 stone at least and just turned 43!!!

exactly...and who needs "mates" like that eh...just makes them playground scum...

best off without them...makes my blood boil that kinda thing...when you're out gigging, im sure you'll be offered a few drinks from people who want to be shown more stuff...i've made a couple of mates that way...

Just ignor them, if they're going to act like that, they're not the sort of people you want as friends.

Get down the local with your cards and show a few tricks at the bar, you'll meet decent people in no time.

Our local is about 30 mins away.. might take a trip there soon.. dont really do pubs but would be a great way to get a name I guess.. works for you lot!!

Yeh my wife is my best friend, always has been.. im just sick of seeing evil eyes everytime I look away from my computer..

So the guy got sacked today .. finally ... for threatening me with a table..

and today I find out that I am on a disciplinary for my part in it

Apparantly I didnt difuse the situation My hearing is on Monday!!

I sympathise entirely. Its typical that victims of bullying are the ones who usually get into trouble
