Not sure about five but the ones ive found most useful...even if i can't do them well yet are:

1. Classic Pass
2. French Drop
3 Classic Palm
4. Double Undercut (If that counts)
5. Back palm

Wow, just realised how few sleights i actually know....

There's a thing in Bobo called Much From Little which is amazing if done on just one person (angley). I never thought much of it from the book but when I saw it on the dvd it looks really good.

As for sleights, you need to play around with the specifics but for cards you'll need a control, a force, a palm, a passable dl would help too. For coins you want to be able to palm a coin on both sides of your hand (so classic palm and some kind of backpalm, I generally use Tenkai Pinch) and a false transfer/vanish and you're well equipped. I've been amazed recently by the reactions you can get from the most basic coin through table with a french drop and some acting, with some thought you can make it pop back up through the table too, great stuff.

The artist who does not rise, descends.
