Have the footage from the BBC show edited into something that doesn't just look like a crappy freak show! Let me know what you think.

works for me. JB is such a joy to watch.
at blackpool in the early hours of one of the mornings after i'd had a few beers i saw some magi put his arm round a fellow magi so i leaned in and said "HE'S STEALING YOUR WATCH", i like to think it was you but i doubt it was.
the pickpocketery is so nice, there's just that element of having a little too much physical contact with someone that puts me off it a little bit, but we clearly have proof that with practise you can get away with it

"the coin... is in my eye!"

Good stuff Boss!! i missed it on the telly, so its good to see.

Did the audience (and the victim) know that you were about to do some pickpocketing?? Or was it revealed to them by you holding up the items?

Cheers for showing me your coin to eye in the ruskin by the way. Hows the new DVD coming? You mentioned some hassle from Apollo Robbins?

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

It's different on stage as the 'victim' is dazzled by the lights and wondering what's going to happen, so it's easy to get physical contact.
If you tried it in the street and was noticed, you would definitley get a slap for your efforts!

There was a good bit in 'The Big Hustle' where Paul Wilson switched some newspaper for a bloke's wallet and he didn't notice until he went to pay for something.
Worth watching, the clip is on youtube.

:D
Which one? The one who does the switch is R. Paul Wilson, he of the RRTCM DVD's. I still can't work out his accent. On the Royal Road DVD's it's a hybrid of Scots and American.

More to the point....

Good effort James. I didn't even see the watch steal myself and that was after watching it 3 times and seeing it produced on the TV

Good work!

Yes, the watch steal is the most impressive part. You can't see anything at all. Very quick and slick. :D
