My Cig Routine (beta)

Postby RobLaughter » Mar 18th, '07, 08:08

This is what I've got down for my cigarette routine so far. I'm going to use it as an opener in my closeup show, but I haven't developed it thoroughly enough yet.

The video is a little blurry, so if you can't see what's happening in the beginning, I'm doing Outsmokin', where the cig is flipped over, but the "wrong" end is in your mouth. I then do an adapted version of that effect where the filter instantly and visually changes ends. I follow it up with a few vanishes/productions.

I'm doing it to the music you hear in the video, and I realized that I need one more segment to fill the two-mintue time. Can anyone suggest another move to put in there? I considered a pull to make the last cig cleanly vanish, but I won't always have a button-down shirt and/or sleeves.

Input?

I've updated the video so you can get a clearer view of what's going on. You can find it using the same link I posted earlier.

Any criticism would be graciously accepted!

I really liked it. Well done.

You could perhaps doctor the cigarette and make it out of flash paper. Would be a good ending to actually light it and 'woof' it disappears.
