heres a question which i think would be more interesting than "how old....."

how LONG have you been practicing magic?

Personally ive always been interested in magic since i was a kid but never actually tried to learn until about 7 months ago,i've just been curious to find out what everyone else had to say

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. - Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989..

...too long, I fear...

Been doing magic in some form or another since Primary School, about the age of six.

Taken up 'serious' learning as a hobby for about the last 10 years - started with reading books (internet and online ordering at magic retailers wasn't an option back then!!!)

I don't aspire to become a magician of recognised status - but I'd like to think that I've mastered it to some degree.

Always learning, always learning - brilliant!

I got a Marvins Magic set and a Magic Circle set when I was eight. I mucked about with that for years as I didn't know anywhere else to get magic. When I was about 11, I started to buy more stuff and it has become my obsession ever since. (as they say, you don't get into magic, it gets into you).

As I said in the other thread, I've been doing it on and off for about 15 years, but seriously only for the last 5, and have only started taking any money from performances in the last 18 months.
