If they exhume the body and discover he is still alive.... now that would be real magic.

I really don't see the point in this. They guy's been pushing up the daisies for years, what's digging him up going to prove? Even if he was murdered, what good's knowing that going to do now?

Houdini ALIVE after Death?

Postby Allen Tipton » Mar 26th, '07, 19:20

:) My close friend the late Val Andrews wrote a number of Sherlock Holmes books, in addition to the several hundred books on magic.
One was entitled S/H & The Houdini Birthright, published in 1995 by Martin Breese. In it, Holmers discovers Houdini is still alive; it was a fake burial.
Houdini 'escaped' from being buried via his trick coffin, used sometimes in his exploits.
The story with its magic references will certainly entertain you.
NOW THE STRANGE THING is just AFTER the book was published someone in the USA, using radar/electronic search equipment had 'proved' the Houdini coffin in the cemetery was.... EMPTY!
Val. was almost hailed as a prophet and had to give numerous interviews
on radio etc. .They ALL THOUGHT HE HAD PREDICTED THIS!!!!
He was tickled pink, but it was good for book sales.

That would be so cool if it was filmed live and Houdini just got out looking really pi**ed off and demanding to speak to his tech crew!!
