Needle Through Arm Issue

Postby Hade » Mar 25th, '07, 15:50

I've a little problem with needle through arm.
Without giving too much away, there appears to be a sticky line along where the needle goes through my arm, rather than a nice continuation of skin.

Every demo video/pic I see, it looks perfect.
Can someone PM me who can help, I can go into more detail then.
Thanks

Sorry guys, deleted those posts... far to exposing!

My advice is this, and I can give this with confidence...

It's your skin.

People have different densities to their skin... and it's this which is most noticable.

However, what it looks like is the needle below the surface, which is actually a good side-effect!

Personally, I'm hairy—and this effect is just a plain no-go for me these days, unless I shave!

I also know people who can't do it at all cos their skin is too taught (the chubby beggars ;))

I'd imagine, at a guess, you're quite lean and have little meat on your bones. The translucency of your skin is the problem here, not the 'stuff'.

Although, it is true that varying the mixture can help, but not to the extent of making it perfect. And for the record, I've seen this performed many times—and one performer in Amsterdam had the same problem as yourself—only I noticed, everyone else was totally bemused!

So, the bottom line: don't panic. It's no big deal. Keep your arm moving, and keep a reasonable distance from burning eyes!

Don't worry, that's what I meant... I know it isn't the needle...

Trust in the force, Luke ;)

I just wanted to let you guys know that this thread is very exposing... I didn't know this trick but after reading this thread I now know how it is done.

Just thought I would let you guys know... sometimes it is hard to tell what you are exposing when you already know the trick.

The needle through arm is indeed done with a remote control

I remember the first time I tried this effect... I hadn't shaved beforehand and wound up having the stuff stuck to my arm for three hours before finally shaving it off... Ahhh, memories...

I agree. And just as a disclaimer, anyone attempting to use a Rotary Cutter on their skin, or any other device used in this effect are doing so at their own risk. Talkmagic is NOT held responsible, neither are it's members.

Jeez - now I'm confused, I always thought it was something red coloured

A red coloured, radio controlled rotary cutter :?:

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

Welcome to the boards!
Yeah, it seems a bit of distance and movement is the key here.
Even with my concerns I've performed it to some very shocked people.

One tip I can give though is don't stand below a light when showing your arm pre-preperation/penetration, else your arm may catch the light.
