Ever since flying near the Bermuda Triangle in the 'wake' of hurricane Ernesto with the plane bouncing up and down in the air for 3 hours... I'd say my phobia is now flying.
Or rather, the flying isn't the problem. It's the crashing I'm REALLY worried about.
I also have a very odd phobia which has haunted me for years, but luckily only manifests once in a while, and that is the fear of being deep underground.
The Channel Tunnel frightens the life out of me, but I am OK with it, as I know that 15 minutes is all it takes before I see daylight again.
However, a recent trip to a slate cavern in Wales left me almost breathless, as we travelled underground in a cable-lift, to such a depth that I felt that I was already entombed.
Oh, and speaking of which, I also have a phobia of being able to 'feel' death after I've died... i.e. they're stuffing my coffin in the incinerator, and my brain is saying 'bloody hell, hang on, it's getting a bit hot in here!'.
