Cut long story short... we have monthly incentives at work each month, hit quota you get a go at a game., points mean cash for the winner. £250

This month it is those annoying buzzer metal mazes that you guide round. Shockingly I have scored maximum points so far having NEVER touched the metal. I stand at 850 points. Second placed is on 110 and has had over double the amount of goes ( top salesman he is, and why he always wins the incentives ) but I kick ass on this one so the money is pretty much mine. No one else can score more than 20 a time, I always hit 50.

Anywho.. that was as short as I can.. I waffle.. and as I thank my practice in sleight of hand and card manipulation, I think I should spend all £250 on magic so Im going to compile a list from now.

I dont want a list born out of CUPS * My accounts in black.. wahoo lets spend * I would like real life workers that can add a lot to my repotoire.

So what would you buy>?>>>>>???

Partofme thinks to spend it on 3 things i wont be able to afford in one go like an expensive wallet of some sort, electric touch etc but i want to be practical..

I.D. - dunno, it's hard really to give someone else a list of stuff when tastes and fancy comes into it all...

if i had to though; i'd say invest in books instead...roy walton/dai vernon/sadowitz/duffie/ that kinda thing...or pick your favourite modern day magicians, and buy books written by their heroes...

I seem to remember you may have Art of Astonishment by Paul Harris.

I'm currently reading Strong Magic by Darwin Ortiz which is a flippin' brilliant book about performance of close up magic

yeh.. im going to buy a good collection of books.. I think Ill just usemy own money for that So far I have this list

And thats about £130 so I can spend the other £120 on some good books.

** edit .. a lot of what I previous posted I could just buy myself so I think Ill just go with the effects there.. and find some good books

How about a couple of bricks of bikes, you can never have too many of them. If your like me you will probally hate spending 40 quid on cards when theres so much more you want aswell.

Get some good books - you will get tons of usable effects.

All eight Tarbell books or all 4 of Harry Lorayne's Apocalypse and you'll
have enough strong material to last a lifetime. And it will inspire you to create some of your own effects.
