OK, who watched the last episode of Life on Mars last night?

Is there anyone who can interpret the ending for me? Or come to that is there anyone who can interpret the meaning of the whole thing?

I watched every episode of both series and still don't really know what it all meant!

I stopped watching it after the first series but I believe it goes...

the voices he's been hearing can apparently hear him and it's a replacement DCI who's after Gene for a murder he escaped with and wants the guy that went back to get the proof.

There's supposed to be a sequel where Gene finds himself in the 80's.

I shan't be watching.

I thought it was absolutely amazing. I found it really clever how what the barman said to Tyler linked into it all.

Its just a shame there will be no more, I just wonder what the spin-off with Gene Hunt will be like....
