Is magic real like magic that hurts people that stuff?

I performed ' the bike chain through the neck ' and sliced it open once..

the ambulance was called and everything.. generally its the magician that gets hurt.. till he learns to do it right

I wear a tube in my neck now through the inability to breathe properly

i read that and i burst out laughing....did you join this forum just to find out if magic that 'hurts people' is real? do you even have an interest in learning magic?

hes asking if magic that "hurts" people is real- like spells, voodoo, and what not.

That not the kind on "magic" we deal in.

We learn and perform the magic that entertains.

can you find such magics on the net, sure will 90% of it be hogwash, absolutly.

I would guess he's either joking, 11 years old, or extremely naive (superstitious). No, there is no real magic that can hurt people.

Yes, thats why Copperfield never has the same assistant two nights running....

voodoo is misappropriated...the whole pin thing is about healing people, not causing pain...

does real magic exist? it does if you choose to believe in it, yes...but the magic will only work and exist in your mind...if you believe someone has cursed you, you will put stock in random events, and change that randomness into the curse...

it's not though...if you're logical and realistic about these things, there'll be a straightforward answer...

as for the occult, well, alot of like minded people, all wanting to believe its true, usually with some form of drug use involved too, will "see" things...but then again, if i sat in a room of friends and took certain drugs, i could possibly imagine things too...no devils involved...

plus, if someone is saying this stuff to frighten you, remember that deep down, that person is scared or being influenced themselves in some way...stay clear of them, and treat them as the joke they are...

someone years ago told me that he'd be discussing me with some "friends" in an occult gathering...and that i would be cursed...well, i've only had my share of problems, same as the next guy...nothing i cant handle...he on the other hand, was heavily into heroin, blackened veins, and severe mental problems...which of us is truly cursed?

though i do have a tail...but it kinda suits me...

basically, things can only hurt you if you invest some kind of power of negative association to it, whether it be bullying, bad thoughts and habits, and all that stuff...

if you're that worried, go talk to someone, parent, friends or ring a helpline....

otherwise...just plain ignore the wierdo that's trying to spook you...

I doubt that you will find a magician here or anywhere else who will sincerely admit that there is true magic in the world. There are no magicians, wizards, sorcerors, or witches, just clever people with quick hands.

No, um, I'm talking about people who do card tricks and stage magic. I've asked a lot of magicians about this and they've all said no. No doubt that there are people who believe in magic (like your friend who is a "witch"). I don't know if you believe there is real magic in the world, but I have come to the conclusions that a lot of magicians, including myself, do not believe in real magic. But who the hell knows?! It might turn out that your friend is extemely magical.
