D'Lite

Postby stevo4 » Apr 12th, '07, 21:06

I was just wondering if anyone has come up with a routine or considered using the D'lite as a TT in an illusion? I own it and i know that it isn't that deep but didn't know if someone had come up with a creative way of combining the two into one?

Hope this makes sense.

I;m not too sure in saying this but I'm pretty sure there is a d'lite DVD available somewhere although i am not too sure. Obviously this would have lots of extra ideas and tips on effects that can be performed with the d'lite

As for the tt question i don't think it could be used in the same manor as a tt due to the way it is operated. If you load it with something then chances are you wnt be able to operate it. Saying this you could always ditch one d'lite mid performance in exchange for a normal TT, then once you have performed a vnish or whatever you could switch back?

Just a thought

Good point. Hadn't thought about a possible dvd out there. And regarding the TT, i understand i lose its ability at some point but that is sort of where i was going with a routine using it first as its supposed to, then finishing with a vanish of small object maybe.

In that case using it as a tt would be completely viable. The only problem you may have is space withoin the tt but I'm sure you'll be able to work around this using smaller objects to vanish.

I was playing around with a D'Lite as a TT bent penny. The penny would look like it's red hot. (Idea from Sean Field's Explicit Content)

Currently Reading "House of Mystery" (Abbott, Teller), Tarbell, Everything I can on busking
