Not sure if this as been mentioned in this thread due to I haven't the time to sit and read it all right now but I was wondering if anyone else as noticed the trick or treat cards. I'm not 100% on this but I think they both say trick and treat on them. It say's trick one way then you turn it the other way up and it say's treat. I only noticed it because he seems to always turn one card round when they have picked there card can anyone clarify this.

Yes see page 1 of this thread!!

Derren always seems to handle the cards very awkwardly too, always adjusting them before he reveals the choice. I would have thought he would be much smoother.

Also in the recent epsiode he showed the camera that both the cards where the same briefly, my housemate still didnt spot it though!!

In the last episode, the intro has been changed about a bit to show the ambigrams. Rather than saying they can choose between a "trick or a treat" and showing two different cards, they simply flip it over. I'm sure it was intentional from the start, as Derren, his producers, his consultants, and his writers are undoubtedly well aware of what they're doing after the several years' experience they've accumulated working on his shows.

Ciao,
Rob

Trick Or Treat 18 May 07

- Out of Body Car Crash
- Covent Garden scroll
- Car Dealer Lies

I thought the out of body was fiendish and a fantastic way to end the series. Nasty, but she derserved it given her driving. It was so inventive and perfect it was a great way to end the series. Amazing.

Covent Garden - completely mystified me. 7, ok, common. But the word?

Car Dealer Lies - he's done it before, and in a car dealership too.

The part that blew me away on that last effect was when she said "mind my back" as her "body" was being pulled from the car... I'd be afraid to do that to a spec!

The out of body stunt was ingenious and amazing! I liked the poker playing OAP, but this was such a well thought out con. Educational too I guess!

And at one point she said "Be careful with me ..." in a quiet voice. Bless.
