Help with Fraud

Postby Django » Apr 15th, '07, 10:49

I've been having trouble with Fraud lately. I had to create a second version because after practicing with my first one the original "it" (lets say) was getting smuged and discolored and no longer matched really. But I dont know what I did different but I'm now finding it really difficult to move "it" on my new one. I got out my old one and am finding it difficult to move "it" on my first one now too. It may be the wax I'm using, or leaving it untouched in my pocket for too long.

If anyone has had this problem or (even better) knows the solution, please let me know. It was only of my favorites to keep in my jacket for whenever but today when I luckily was only doing it for my own amusement couldnt do it and will have to remove it until I'm confident with it again. :(

Maybe this is your problem? You said: "It may be the wax I'm using..."

I may be misunderstanding but why not use what he says to use in the dvd?

I like leaving tricks in my pockets and forgetting about them so I can wait for the time (or even day) to take a trick out, so as not to push it on people. So yes, I leave the house each day with a clean deck, an arranged deck, a loop on my wrist, some kruepper coins, a sharpie, some magnets, some flash paper... it makes me feel like MacGuyver or maybe Batman's lesser useful half-brother.

About Fraud, any tips on reducing the smudging? I have a practice one, that's too messy to perform with but my newer one is already looking a bit smudged (both the real and fake aspects) after only a few times out of the pocket. Any advice?

I suggest making more than one that way you can give "it" away and not worry about if one gets smudged. Oh ya I would say no to the whole wax idea but hey... The DVD has all you need to kno....thats the best way to go. excellent quality dvd by the way.

the thing is the little part of "it" that you DON'T give them at the end of the trick smudges (and gets kinda greenish) also. And that could get expensive making new ones every few times.

The DVD tells how to remedy the situation that can arise when making the gimmick. If follow the instructions you will know how get new bills to replace the "damaged" ones with no cost whatsoever although I now go to the atm instead of explaining my situation to the teller inside...HA! Fraud will smudge no matter what - unless you wear gloves I would guess. I suggest making a new one for every use for added comfort whilst performing. No worries, A.
