Passing Thru British Bottles!!!

Postby Chris » Apr 24th, '07, 09:09

Has anyone else found that British Bottles have far to small a lid to put a decent sized coins thru the lid? So far Vodka or other bottle I have used can only fit 5p thru the lid?

What bottles have bigger heads to fit bigger coins in?

I spent a weekend looking around various supermarkets to get the 'right' bottle.

Tesco and Asda do a Tomato Juice in a bottle that is suitable, but in my opinion was too small. Aldi have a fresh orange juice, called Del Rivo or something, and the bottle is sopt on!

I will check that out thanks, its just a shame there are no well known makes, like Jack Daniels or Budweiser that you can fit a 10 pence in, as these are far more visually pleasing than an ALDI orange bottle lol, but thanks I will try them out...........

To be honest the effect is so strong that it doesn't matter what bottle you use, when your spec sees and hears it melt thru it blows them away.

Also, I've taken the label off anyway so you can clearly see inside the bottle. I know Kevin Parker says on the DVD to leave a sticker on the gimmick but I haven't as it doesn't fit in with the bottle, if this makes any sense?! :? Can't put it much clearer for fear of exposure

If you find a more 'mainstream' bottle I'd be interested in hearing about it

I've just had a thought, I'm not near a shop to check it just yet, but if I remember correctly 'Oasis' juice bottles could well be suitable.. easy to carry for an 'impromptu' performance as well, not to mention people will know it better than Del Rivo!!

I'll have a look tonight and let you know!

They really make Oasis bottles out of plastic now???? I feel a petition to no. 10 about that comming on. And while I'm at it I might add in bringing back the Smarties tubes with the little plastic lid with the letter on and renaming Star Burst back to Opal Fruits

Very true I hate it when they change the names of food. The marathon never tasted the same after it was changed or coco pops, they got changed to some horrendous name for a while.

Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.

One of the worst one's I descovered recently was Monster Munch, they used to be massive. I'd hardly call them monster now

And Wagon Wheels, I'm sure they've shrunk too,

Wagon Wheels? They were the days. Sitting in my vest and pants in a beer garden on a hot day, eating wagon wheels and drinking fizzy pop until I was sick..

This wasn't when I was a child, it was last weekend

totally agree about smaller monster munch. I only found out recently, I was horrified! They are a lot more crumbly too.

And as for not being able to fire the plastic lid off a smartie tube any more, don't get me started.
All natural colouring too, they look nasty!
Besides, Kids aren't half as much fun these days now they're not wired on E numbers.

not a fan of sigs, so I won't bother adding o..... oh
