Hey, welcome to TM.
The people here are very fun and intelligent as long as you keep from looking like an ass. That said, they're pretty quick at forgiving people who change their attitudes.
If you ask for advise, you'll almost never be disappointed. Card knowledge here is abundant. If you want to know a card move, you'll get a nice shove in the right direction every time.
TM is fortunate to have the erudite commentary (and occasional rant) from people like Craig Browning and Mark Lewis.
Overall, you'll find TM to be a great community for learning magic.

Hi and welcome to TM

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

A very warm welcome to the madhouse

Seriously, though - TM is a fantastic forum, full of knowledgable folk, who are always more than willing to help out.

One of the very best things - for all members (both new and old) - is the comprehensive Search function; the search button is your friend...snuggle up to it, look after it, and feed it correctly, and it'll love you, and reward you time-after-time.

I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay, and look forward to seeing you on the boards :D

Why do people never put a subject on replies?

If you're just starting on cards, I'd suggest Royal Road to Card Magic as a book you should read. It's got some fantastic stuff in it. Welcome!
